• Class participation data: We keep records of your attendance and the book discussions (meetings) you join, including books you've read or discussed.
• Device and usage data: We collect standard log information (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps) that is necessary to operate and secure the Services.
• Communications: If you contact us, we collect the information you provide in your message.

How We Use Information

• Provide, operate, and improve the Services.
• Authenticate users and secure accounts.
• Facilitate video classes and book discussions.
• Maintain records of attendance and reading progress.
• Respond to inquiries and provide support.
• Comply with legal obligations.

Video and Audio

We use LiveKit to power live video classes. At this time, we do not record classes. We may choose to enable recording in the future. If we do, we will update this policy and provide appropriate notice.

• Service providers: Vendors that help us operate the Services, such as hosting providers (Google Cloud Platform), authentication providers (Better Auth), and video infrastructure providers (LiveKit).
• OAuth providers: Google and Discord provide login services and may receive information about your use of our Services in accordance with their policies.
• Legal and safety: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Wickshelf, our users, or the public.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Services and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Account deletion functionality is in development. In the meantime, you may request deletion by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your Choices

• You can unlink social providers in your account settings (if you keep at least one active login method).
• You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.
